EZPDO » EZPDO 1.1.0 Release Candidate 1 (rc1) is available

EZPDO is taking a quantum leap!

The first release candidate of EZPDO 1.1.0 is now available: ezpdo.1.1.0rc1. Summary of changes since last stable release:

The support for transactions, an utterly critical piece, is finally made available. This closes the long standing Task 42. See the manual page on its usage and also initial discussions on this feature.
PostgreSQL is now officially supported. This has also come a long way. The initial code was donated by sbogdan (see this for initial discussions on the portability class for pgsql) and was improved by rashid and fela. We have tweaked the code and also made it into the nightly regression tests.
Preliminary support for PDO (beta quality) is also made available in this release. You may try it out by setting option dblib to pdo in your config file (config.xml). Make sure you have the PDO extension properly installed. It now comes with PHP 5.1 by default, but for PHP 5.0.x, you may need to install its PECL extensions. Check out PDO manual for more info on php.net.
Fixed many small bugs. Omitted. Please refer to Rephlux log for all changes made since last release.
