About This release includes a good number of enhancements and bug fixes since the last release (1.0.2). Follow this link to download. Summary of changes.
- Bug fix (81): EZPDO assumed the tokenizer extension is always in place. Turned out not always true. Now additional checking is added in both epScanner and the readiness checking script (/scripts/check.sh). Thanks to an anonymous user for reporting this issue.
- Bug fix (80): The benchmark code (/benchmark/books) did not work in getting memory consumption on Windows systems. Thanks to rashid for suggesting the fix.
- Bug fix (79): rainer spotted errenous outputs (’unrecognized value’) for vars with array or regular object values when echoing the object. Fixed in epObjectWrapperBase::__toString().
- Feature request (76): Added new data type “decimal” per monsieurcanard’s request for accurate storage. Please note a decimal var retrieved from storage is cast to string.
- Bug fix (75): Exception throwing was not done right in epDbObject. Now fixed. Thanks to Daniel Rocha for bringing this up.
- Feature request (74): This is a long-awaited feature recently brought up again by monsieurcanard. See more at Inverse of a relationship var.
- Feature request (73): A new method epGetClass() is added the epObject interface for easy reflection.
- Bug fixes (59, 49, 45): Object without primitive vars is not persisted, a small bug in EZOQL and another in the oid field. Now all fixed. Thanks to Andrew Sroka for his thorough testing.
- Feature request (51): Relax EZOQL so table aliases aren’t needed. See more at EZOQL Simplified Syntax. Again a big thank you to monsieurcanard for putting up this request.
- Doc request (25): This is doc request for the mapping of inheritance and polymorphism. Now available. See more in Inheritance.
- Feature request (5): This is a long overdue request to use SimpleXML to parse config.xml. A big big thank you to rashid for contributing the parser code using SimpleXML. So we no longer need to rely on the customized PEAR XML Serializer.
