EZPDO » EZPDO 1.0.1 available

Two and a half weeks after the official release of 1.0.0, we are happy to announce that EZPDO 1.0.1 is available. Below is a summary of the improvements made in this release.

Feature request (14, 24): event listeners are now supported. This has been a long-awaited feature by many. We can foresee many interesting event-driven applications can be built on this new feature. Our special acknowledgment to DrSlump for his constructive comments to this feature.
Feature request (65): make object identity (oid) configurable in configuration file (config.xml) and class-level @orm tag. See the discussions in this forum post. Thanks to Haiken for bringing up this request.
Bug fix (63): interface (Countable) redeclaration in PHP 5.1 (dev). Fixed. Thanks to rash for reporting the problem and testing the fix.
Feature request (61, 64): implement serialization in EZPDO persistent objects. The impelementation prevents the variables (cached for speed) - the manager (epManager), class map (epClassMap), and field maps (epFieldMap) from being serialized (__sleep()), and recovers them when unserialized (__wakeup()). We expect this fix would open the door for eazy integration of EZPDO with other serialization-based applications and frameworks (such as PRADO). Thanks to mediawiz and jdorner for reporting the issue.
Bug fix (58): in auto_compile, when a class that has not been included is persisted for the first time, even if a class resides in the source directory (src_dirs), an exception is thrown. Now EZPDO searches the source directory and recusively looks for its super classes. So no need to include the source file. Thanks to scottsiu for making us aware of the issue.
Bug fix (54): no alert when the class of a relationship field is not present. Fixed. Now EZPDO conducts integrity check after class compiling.
